Report on Tulu Drama Program - Alumni Association

A Tulu drama program was organized on 16th March 2025 at Town Hall, Mangalore by the Alumni Association of WNES.

Before the commencement of the drama, a felicitation program was held to honour Ln. Kishore D. Shetty. The event was efficiently compered by Ms. Raviprabha, Executive Committee Member of the Alumni Association.

The program began with a welcome address by Ms. Prithvi M, Secretary of the Alumni Association. Ms. Swaroopa Shetty, Executive Member, introduced and spoke about the esteemed guest. The felicitation was carried out by Mr. Annappa Nayak, President of WNES, Dr. Manjula K.T., Correspondent of Besant Women’s College and Vice President of WNES, and Dr. Praveen Kumar K.C., Principal of the institution.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Sujatha P.V., President of the Alumni Association.

Following the formal function, a Tulu drama titled “Oriyandala Sari Bodu”, directed by Ln. Kishore D. Shetty, was staged. The drama was well received by the audience and added a cultural touch to the event.

Overall, the program was a grand success, filled with enthusiasm, cultural pride, and active participation from alumni and well-wishers.
