Collage Competition on International Breast Feeding Week: Dept. of Home Science

In connection with World Breast Feeding week 2022, Besant women’s college Mangalore had organized collage competition by the department of Home Science on 5th August 2022.

Topic for the competition was “STEP UP FOR BREAST FEEDING –EDUCATE AND SUPPORT”

The competition was arranged by the Home Science department to gain knowledge on importance of feeding in the early face of life. Nearly 20 students from different classes took part in the competition. Students were very creative and exhibited their talents in the collage competition.

Mrs. Gayathree and Ms. Swathi M from Home Science department had organized the programe. Prof Sherly Rani, Mrs. Ranjini, Mrs. Indira were the judges.

Objectives:

• To gain knowledge on importance of breast feeding.
• To develop the skills of collage i.e., coordinating photos with beautiful layouts.

Outcomes:

• Students gained knowledge on importance of breast feeding.
• Collage competition was a channel to exhibit the talents of students
