Blood donation camp-2022: Red Cross & Sport Association

Youth red cross wing, Sports association, Indian red cross society, Blood bank Lady Goschen hospital, IQAC in association with Lions Club Padil, Kankanady has conducted Blood donation camp on 14th March 2022. Rtn CA Shantharam Shetty Chairman, Indian Red Cross society was inaugurated the camp. Mrs Vani Maroli, President Lions Club Padil, Kankanady was the Chief Guest. Mrs Lilly Pais, Organising Secretary, Karanataka State Physical Education Association and Dr Manjula K T, Vice President of WNES and the correspondent of Besant Women's College was the guest of honors. Dr Sathish Kumar Shetty Principal, Besant Women's College presided over the function. 172 members registered. 138 units of blood has been collected from the students, staff and administrative staff of our college. All the students of Youth Red Cross actively participated and donated their Blood to save someone's life. Prof Deekshitha program officer and Mrs Roopathi PED of Besant Women's College were present during the camp.
