Annual Athletic Meet 2021-22: Dept. of PD & Sports Assocaition

The 44th ANNUAL athletic meet was organized by Besant Women’s College at Mangala Stadium on 17th March 2022. Mr. Premanath Shetty, District Sports Co-ordinator and Physical Education Director of S.V. PU College, Yedapadavu, inaugurated the meet. In his inaugural address, he expressed that sports is the integral part of education because it contributes in constructing a person’s personality with strong body and equanimous mind. Dr. Manjula K.T, Correspondent shared her opinion, "sports activities are responsible for all-round development of a child which enables a child to acquire mental and Physical development".

Sri Kudpi Jagadish Shenoy, president of Women’s National Education Society (WNES), wished our students good luck. Principal, Dr. Sathish Kumar Shetty P welcomed the gathering. Physical Education Director, Ms. Roopathi M. expressed her gratitude on this occasion. Student Sports Secretary Ms.Sushmitha administered the oath. Ms. Dhanshree led the torch.

Overall championship shared by Ms. Neha of II B.A and Ms. Neha of II B.Sc.FND Women’s National Education Society Sri. Suresh Pai honoured the champions during the valedictory ceremony.
