Talk program at All India Radio: R&D Cell

Research is an activity of structured exploration which involves various minor steps such as data collection and documentation and so on by utilizing suitable methodologies. Research has become an important part of our life.

Organizing and promoting research and developmental programs periodically and encouraging competence and consultancy in research activities has been the main motto of Research & Development Cell.

Accordingly, in order to encourage students to get exposure to various kinds of media, taken a step and provided an opportunity to present the research papers in the English Yuvavani Show at All India Radio, Mangaluru.

With the guidance and support of Dr. Gawtham Jyothsna, Convener of Research & Development Cell, Divya from, III BA and Neha of II BA as a beginning have given program at AIR.

Divya Joshi from Final BA presented a talk on “Resistance and Post War Films a Glimpse” which tries to interpret the condition that was prevailing during World Wars and how European filmmakers were successful in projecting the pity and horrifying conditions of people living during post-war days.

Neha of II BA presented her topic “Gothic Literature” which gives insights into its origin, importance, features, and its influence on English literature.

The recording session had taken place on 2 March 2022 at All India Radio Mangaluru and the students were accompanied by Dr. Gawtham Jyothsna Convener of R&D Cell and MS. Nireeksha, member of R&D, Cell, and the program was broadcasted by AIR Yuvavani unit on 5th and 12th of March respectively.
