'Erudition' an academic programme for Besant Kannada Medium Children’s

As part of the commemoration of thecentenary celebration of Basant Kannada Primary School, the Department ofSecretarial  Practice organized a'Erudition'  an academic programme forKannada Medium Children’s at Kala Krishna Hall on Tuesday, February 27th, Thetreasurer of WNES, Mr. M. P Bhat, who was the chief guest,  Mr. Sathish Kumar Bhat, correspondent ofBasant English Media School, Mr. Devananda Pai correspondent of Besant Women'sCollege, and Headmistress of Kannada Primary School Ms. Shrimathi were presenton the podium.  Basant Women's CollegePrincipal Dr. Satish Kumar Shetty welcomed the gathering.

The chief guest Mr. M. P Bhatencouraged students to participate in extracurricular activities and developwisdom.  Mr. Sathish Kumar Bhat on hisspeech said, be careful when choosing friends and earn good friendship, learning,education, then only you will find success in life.

The students of the SecretarialPractice performed role play on the effect of mobile use and also entertainedchildren’s with country devotional songs, dance and mime show. In addition,students conducted quiz and various skillful games for Kannada medium schoolchildren’s. Prizes were distributed to the winners. HoD of Secretarial PracticeProf. Hemalatha proposed vote of thanks. Lavanya and Poornima compered theprogramme. Other lecturers of the department, Prof. Ranjini, Vidya Bhat, ShailaKamath and primary school faculty were present.
