‘BEQUEST & INNOVISION’ an Inter Collegiate National Fest 2017-18

BesantEvening College winners and Paduva College of Commerce & Management,Nanthoor, Mangalure,  Runners at BequestUG Fest 2017 while Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology(AIMIT)  and S.D.M. P.G. Centre areemerged as winners and runners respectively at the Innovision – 2017 PG Fest.

The two-dayinter collegiate fest inaugurated on 14th September concluded onFriday.  A total of 30 collegesparticipated in different events under the theme VASUDAIVA KUTUMBAKAM– unity indiversity.

Sri. ShyamSundar Kamath, Secretary of WNES gave away the trophies to the winners andcertificates were given to all the participants during the valedictoryceremony.  Sri.T.G. Shankar Narayan Bhat,was the guest of honour

 The event was inaugurated on Thursday by SwamiJitakamanandaji, Adhyaksha of Ramakrishna Muth.  Inaugurating the event he said, VasudaivaKutumbakam is the concept the ancient has given world.  India is the miniature world. All cultureshave come together in forming a vibrant unity in India.  Earlier the next generation develops the socialcultural and spiritual maturity by extending the self beyond the imaginaryboundaries of relation, caste, culture, creed and countries better are theopportunities for establishing world peace, he opined.

Sr. KudpiJagadeesh Shenoy, President, W.N.E.S, said, this student’s Fest aimed at developinga fellow feeling among the students, the young citizens of this part right nowfor a better life tomorrow. Sri Devenanda Pai, Correspondent wished well to theparticipant teams.  Dr. Sathish KumarShetty welcomed earlier. Dr. Meenakshi K., student welfare officer proposed thevote of thanks.

Ms. Anupa Baliga, lecturer P.G.Dept. and student union leaders Kavyashree, Akshatha, Sheethal, Kausalya, were present on this occasion.
