Installation of Rotaract Club: Rotaract Club

The installation of the Rotaract Club of Besant PG Studies was held on 14th December 2023 in the M. Com seminar hall, Besant Women’s College at 2:30 pm. The chief guest of the program was Rtn PHF Jayaprakash, the Rotaract chairman and the installation officer was Rtn PHF Siddhartha, Secretary of Rotaract Club, Mangalore.

The MC for the program was Afrima and Vismaya led the prayers. Shifanaz welcomed the gathering and Rasheeda introduced the guests Mr Jayaprakash and Mr Siddhartha. The principal Dr. Praveen Kumar K.C. florally welcomed and the dignitaries lighted the lamp. Ms Anupa Baliga, Rotaract club co-ordinator, reported on last year's Rotaract club activities. The installation officer Rtn PHF Siddhartha inducted the President of the Rotaract Club Manal Azim for the year 2023-24 and the other office bearers were inducted by Rtn PHF JayaPrakash. Prinicpal Dr. Praveen Kumar K. C. gave a motivational speech. Rtn PHF JayaPrakash gave a history of the beginning of the Rotaract club and motivated the students with his incredible speech. Rotary Club was founded in the year 1949 (present is the 75th year) and there are 15 rotary clubs in Mangalore. Rtn PHF Siddhartha spoke about the achievements of the Rotary Club. Mufeeda proposed the vote of thanks. The installation ceremony ended with the president adjourning the meeting and the national anthem.
