Inaugural of Certificate course in Pathological techniques: Dept. of MSc (FSN)

The department of P.G Studies in Food Science and nutrition in association with IQAC organized the inaugural ceremony of the certificate course for M.Sc. students for the year 2021-22. The occasion was graced by the chief guest Mr. Martin, PRO, ACCU Labs, Valencia; Vice-President of WNES and Correspondent of Besant Women’s College, Dr. Manjula K.T.; Principal, Dr. Sathish Kumar Shetty P; IQAC co-ordinator Prof. Sayed Kahdar.

Ms. Nireeksha V, faculty, Department of P.G Studies in Food Science and nutrition welcomed the gathering. The dignitaries were welcomed florally. The certificate course was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp.

Principal, Dr. Satish Kumar Shetty gave the presidential address and encouraged the students to strive for excellence with hard work and dedication.

Correspondent, Dr. Manjula K.T. stressed the importance of the certificate course and how significant it is to take up certificate courses to get in-depth knowledge of the subject and acquire skills to stay competitive and perform tasks efficiently. Madam inspired the students to take up various other certificate courses which are offered online by various universities. Madam also suggested having collaborations and health camps for the benefit of the community.

IQAC co-ordinator, Prof Sayed Kahdar congratulated the department for taking initiative to conduct the certificate course and motivated the students to get the maximum benefit from the course.

Ms. Asiamath Shahada Firhath, faculty gave a glimpse of the importance of the certificate course, and the duration of the course to the gathering.

Mrs. Indira Badya, HOD delivered the vote of thanks. The First M.Sc. students compered the program and Ms. Sushma invoked the blessings of the Almighty. The program was coordinated by Ms. Firhath, Ms. Nireeksha, and Mrs. Shweta Singh
