Pla card making competition in connection with green initiative programme – ‘Our house Our Tree’: Dept. of SP

The department of Secretarial Practice had organised ‘Pla card making competition on 3rd August 2022 in Room No S17 in connection with green initiative programme – ‘Our house Our Tree’. Mrs. Swaroopa Shetty and Mrs. Indira Badya were the judges. Students exhibited creatively designed placards and presented on the given topic. The Principal, Dr. Sathish Kumar Shetty P. appreciated the work done by the students. Prof. Hemalatha, HoD, thanked all the participants for actively participating in the competition. The faculty members of the department -Mrs. Ranjini M. Mrs. Vidya Bhat and Mrs. Shaila Kamath were present.

II Prize-II Semester Open Elective

III Prize – II BA

Objectives:

• To create environmental consciousness among the students
• To educate the students with the different issues on environmental pollution
• To gain knowledge on solutions for such issues

Outcomes:

• The competition helped the students to gain knowledge on their responsibilities towards environmental protection
• Helped the students to learn about some solution for environmental related issues
• Students learnt the various issues on save water and save trees
