Farewell : Dept. of PG Studies in Commerce

Introduction:

The farewell function, organized to bid adieu to final M.Com ,was held on 26th July 2023 at seminar hall. The event aimed to celebrate the contributions and achievements of the departing students and create a memorable send-off.

Attendees:

The function was attended by a diverse gathering, including faculty member , and well -wisher of departing students. Ms. Suraksha, vice president of PG students council was guest of honour presided by Dr. Satish Kumar shetty our principal.

Program Highlights:

The farewell function commenced with melodious prayer and warm welcome and opening remarks by Ms. Bhavya who highlighted the significance of the occasion. Ms. Indulekha welcomed the gathering. The event featured a range of activities and segments.

Speech: Ms. Suraksha, vice president of PG students council, the guest honour ,Ms. Varshini and Ms. Mubashira shared heartfelt memories, and appreciation. These speeches provided a touching insight into the impact they had on their classmates and the faculties and juniors. Our principal Dr. Satish Kumar shetty , Ms. Devika and Ms. Anupa maam gave motivational, encouraging speech and blessing to the departing batch. Ms. Dhanyashree gave vote of thanks.

Awards and Recognitions: Ms. Varshini and Ms. Mubashira announced winner’s of title name, which was conducted at peer-level learning.

Cultural Performances: The function also showcased vibrant cultural performances, including song by Ms. Shifanaz.s and Ms. Murshida , dance performances by juniors.

interactive Activities: Attendees participated in interactive games and activities like Bouncing balls, saree draping with blind folded, biscuit eating, pass the buck and best friend question games, balloon blasting etc.

A video clip of memories of departing students were played and token of love were given along with the reward they won through games were distributed to them. Eventually all departing students enjoyed delicious cake and had enthusiastic time.
