Poster Making Competition : Folk culture club

The folk culture club of our college organized a Poster Making Competition on 3 June 2023 for the members of the Club. The topic for the poster making competition was “Beauty of Indian Culture”

Culture plays an important role in the development of any nation. It represents a set of shared attitudes, values, goals and practices. Culture and creativity manifest themselves in almost all economic, social and other activities.

Total number of teams participated: 9 (each team consists of 3 members)

Results of the competition:

I Place: Shazma and team (Shazma,, Fathima - I B.A)

II Place: Kavya and team ( Kavya, Akshatha, Lakshika – II B.A)

III Place: Usha and team (Usha, Prajana, Preethika - II B.A)

Programme Objectives:

This competition was intended to convey comprehensive information related to cultural heritage, ancient monuments, literary arts, visual arts, schemes, programmes, performing arts, fairs and festivals and handicraft of India.

Programme Outcome:

• Inculcated among the students the creative folk culture expression
• Gauged their knowledge and awareness of Indian culture
