Amog Garment factory visit -Innovation Club 2018

The members of ‘Besant Skill Development Centre’, EDP Cell and Women’s Cell visited ‘Amog Garment factory’ at Gurupur, Mangalore on 26th September 2018, organized by the Innovation Club. They were accompanied by Prof. Ranjini, Director of Innovation Club, Prof. Devika, Director of Women’s Cell, Prof. Reshma, Director of EDP Cell and Deekshithashri, the trainer of Tailoring. Ms. Sowmya, the secretary of Innovation Club assisted. 

The Proprietor of ‘Amog Garments”, Mr. G. Vinayaka Prabhu, and the  Manager, Mrs. Kavitha demonstrated the process of different sewing and tailoring machines like overlock, high end, beeding, button hole, button fixing, digital embroidery, canvas fixing, cutting and steam ironing. The employees in the factory showed keen interest in demonstrating the stitching process.  The student who visited the factory got the knowledge of managing large scale industries and the benefit of having imported machines to deal with large orders.
