Orientation Programme for Newly Joined Students

The Orientation Programme for newly admitted students was held on July 20, 2026, in the college auditorium. The chief address was delivered by Dr. Manjula K. T., Correspondent of Besant Women's College and Vice President of the Women's National Education Society. She welcomed the students and encouraged them to make the best use of the opportunities provided by the institution. The Deans of the various departments introduced their respective departments and explained the academic programmes, career prospects, and opportunities available to students. Mrs. Naseera, a trained counselor, spoke about the counseling services available on campus and highlighted the importance of seeking guidance for personal, academic, and emotional well-being. Dr. Praveen Kumar K. C. briefed the students on the college rules, regulations, and code of conduct, emphasizing the importance of discipline and responsible behavior.

Objectives of the Orientation Programme

  1. To introduce newly admitted students to the college, its vision, mission, facilities, and academic environment.
  2. To educate students about the college rules, regulations, discipline, and code of conduct.
  3. To familiarize students with the various academic departments, student support services, and opportunities available for their overall development.
  4. To create awareness about counseling services and encourage students to seek guidance whenever required.

Outcomes of the Programme
