The Department of Commerce and Business Administration organized an Investor Awareness Programme on Mutual Funds with the objective of creating awareness among students about the importance of financial planning, investment, and wealth creation. The programme focused on introducing students to the concept of mutual funds, their types, benefits, risks, and the role they can play in achieving various financial goals. The resource person explained how mutual funds pool money from different investors and invest it in securities such as equities, bonds, and other financial instruments.
