Talk on "Preparation for Competitive Exams": Department of Commerce & Business administration and the Department of Computer Applications
The Department of Commerce and Business administration and the Department of Computer Applications in association with IQAC organised a Talk on "Preparation for Competitive Exams" on 7th March 2025 in the college auditorium for final-year B.Com, BBA, BA, and BCA students. The session was led by Mr. Ashith Poojary, Manager and Mr. Raviraj, Assistant Manager, from the Triumphant Institute of Management Education (T.I.M.E.).
During the talk, esteemed dignitaries were present, including Principal Dr. Praveen Kumar K.C., Prof. Syed Kahdar, HoD, Commerce and Business Administration), Mr. Gopalkrishna Raikar, HoD, Department of Computer Applications, and Mrs. Shaila Kamath, Convenor of the Program. Their presence added significance to the event.
The speakers provided valuable insights into various competitive exams, including banking, civil services, MBA entrance (CAT, MAT), and government job exams. They discussed exam patterns, time management, and effective study strategies while emphasizing key areas such as quantitative aptitude, reasoning, general awareness, and verbal ability.
