REPORT ON INCOME GENERATING ACTIVITIES

Objectives:

  • To promote entrepreneurial skills among students
  • To encourage creativity and innovation
  • To provide practical experience in managing small-scale businesses.
  • To generate funds through student-led initiatives

The students of science organized income generating activities on 22nd April 2026. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Praveen Kumar K.C, Principal of Besant Women's College and Dr. Manjula K.T vice President WNES and correspondent, BWC. The students had different stalls like Treats & Treasures, The Hungry Spot, Tasty Tracks, Play & plate, Snack Hub, The Chaat Corner, Chit Chats, Sizzle & Serve, Charmuri Point, The Variety Hub. There was a stall by Ms. Harina Rao who is a great entrepreneur.

The items included:

  • Homemade food items such as snacks, sweets, and beverages
  • Handmade keychains made using beads, threads, and resin
  • Stickers with creative designs and personalized messages
  • Accessories such as bracelets, earrings, and decorative items

Outcome

  • Students gained experience.
  • Enhanced practical knowledge and confidence.
  • Developed entrepreneurial skill among students.
