Orientation Programme on Logistics & Allied Industries- Scope & Opportunities: Department of Commerce and Business Administration

The Department of Commerce & Business Administration organized an Orientation Programme on Logistics & Allied Industries – Scope & Opportunities on 23rd November 2024.The programme aimed to provide students with insights into the logistics and allied industries, exploring career opportunities and challenges in the field.

The chief guest, Mr. Srinath, Managing Director of SERAAIRO Education Private Limited, Mangalore, delivered a talk on career opportunities in logistics and supply chain management. He emphasized the importance of logistics in the global economy and highlighted the career prospects for students in this field. The Principal Dr. Praveen Kumar KC. Was presided over the Programme. Prof. Syed Kahdar, Dean & HOD of Commerce & Business Administration, and Staff members of department were also present.

Programme Highlights:

- The programme provided students with valuable insights into the logistics and allied industries.

- Mr. Srinath’s talk inspired students to explore career opportunities in logistics and supply chain management.

- The programme was attended by 125 students from different streams, including B.Com, BBA, BA, B.Sc, B.Sc (FND) & B.Sc (Home Science).
