Besant Institutions celebrated the 110th Birth Anniversary of its former President Late shri Manel Srinivas Nayak on February 8, 2023. The President, Sri Manel Annappa Nayak, Vice President, Dr. Manjula K T, Secretary, Shri Jeevandas Narayan along with other members of the society and heads of the institutions were present on this occasion

Ms. Deekshitha T.S, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, Besant Women’s College, was recognized for being selected as the “Best Performing Youth Red Cross Programme Officer” of Mangalore University for the year 2021-2022.

Ms. Vishalakshi, III B. Com, Besant Women’s College, was conferred a certificate in recognition of the Mangalore University award for the “Best Performing Youth Red Cross Volunteer” of the year 2021 - 2022 conferred upon her.
