SAHAJA YOGA PROGRAMME 2025-2026

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Department of Physical Education and the National Service Scheme (NSS), in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organised a Sahaja Yoga Programme on 5th March 2026 at the College Auditorium. Students from various classes participated in the programme. The Sahaja Yoga Programme was a meaningful initiative that provided students with an opportunity to understand the importance of inner well-being, meditation, and a healthy lifestyle. The programme successfully promoted awareness of physical and mental wellness and contributed to the holistic development of the participating students.

OBJECTIVES

  1. To create awareness about the importance of yoga and meditation in maintaining physical and mental well-being.
  2. To promote relaxation, concentration, emotional balance, and inner peace among students.
  3. To encourage students to adopt healthy and positive lifestyle practices.
  4. To empower young women by enhancing their self-awareness, confidence, and overall well-being.
  5. To highlight the relevance of yoga in managing stress and improving quality of life.

OUTCOMES

  1. Students gained awareness of the benefits of Sahaja Yoga and meditation.
  2. Participants experienced improved relaxation, mental calmness, and concentration.
  3. The programme encouraged students to develop healthy habits and positive attitudes towards life.
  4. Students understood the importance of maintaining a balance between physical, mental, and emotional health.
  5. The programme contributed to the overall empowerment and well-being of women students in connection with International Women’s Day.
