A description of the Activity:

A special lecture on women’s rights was held on 23/11/2024 under the NSS Unit. The programme focused on creating awareness among students about women’s rights, legal protections, gender equality, and the importance of respecting and safeguarding the dignity and rights of women.

• To create awareness among the student community about women’s rights, legal protections, and gender equality.
• To make students realise the importance of respecting and safeguarding the dignity and rights of women.

Outcome

• The programme enhanced awareness among participants about women’s constitutional and legal rights.
• Encouraged students to recognise and address gender-based discrimination and motivated them to promote equality, dignity, safety, and the empowerment of women in society.
