Visit to SDM Nature cure Hospital, SDM Women’s ITI College, Manjusha Museum at Dharmasthala and SIRI Gramodhyoga: Dept. of Home Science

Objectives:

• To gain knowledge on different aspects of Nature Cure.
• To know different ideas of Fashion Design and different Siri Products.

Besant Women’s College had organized a visit to SDM Nature cure Hospital, SDM Women’s ITI College Ujire, Manjusha Museum at Dharmasthala and SIRI Gramodhyoga at Belthangady by the department of Home Science.

Students of Home Science visited Nature Cure Hospital and gathered information on Diet Section and women’s treatment section (Mud bath, Steam bath etc.) Students also visited Fashion design block at SDM Women’s ITI and visited Manjusha Museum at Dharmasthala and SIRI Millets shop and café at Bethangady.

Outcome :

• Students gained knowledge on Diet section, Mud Bath etc…
• Observed different Techniques of Fashion Design and Varites of SIRI Products.
