Founders Day - 2018
The 105thbirth anniversary of founder of Besant Institutions Manel Srinivas Nayak wascelebrated as ‘Founder’s Day’ at Besant Women’s College Auditorium on 8thFebruary 2018.
An oldstudent of institution from Bangalore Prof.Kadambi Ramadas Kamath addressingthe audience said that the value based education he, his siblings and childrenreceived from the Besant has helped them to succeed as professionals. He thanked the foresightedness and concern ofthe found for education of people of this part. He handed over a cheque to support the scholarship fund to WNESpresident Kudpi Jagadeesh Shenoy.
Ms. Vaishnavi,a B.Sc. student who spoke on life, achievement and message of the founder said,the concern of Manel Srinivas Nayak for women’s education has helped thousandsof needy women to lead a better life.
The rankholder of last university semester exams Niriksha, Siddamma M. Koti, ShailaShet and Deeksha Rao were felicitated and distinction holders from allinstitutions were given certificate of recognition by Vice President of WNESManel Annappa Nayak and Secretary Shyam Sundar Kamath.
Themanagement committee members, heads of the institution, student leaders, PTAoffice bearers and the guest paid floral tribute to the burst of the founderduring the ceremony.
