Farewell ceremony : Union Council

A farewell ceremony was organized for the final year students of the Department of PG Studies in Food Science & Nutrition of Besant Women’s College, Mangalore on 01st of August 2023 in the Seminar Hall, MCom Block. The president of the PG Union Council, Ms. Shaima Saeed, was the chief guest of the event and it was presided by the principal, Dr. Sathish Kumr Shetty P, along with the NAAC coordinator Dr. Praveen Kumar KC & IQAC coordinator Prof Syed Kahdar S. The event began with a prayer by the students of 1st MSc FSN, followed by the welcome address through the HOD,MSc FSN department Ms. Indira Badya. The dignitaries were florally welcomed & the chief guest expressed her experience in the institution. The NAAC coordinator, IQAC coordinator, and the HOD conveyed their best wishes to the outgoing batch. The final-year students gave their feedback as well and shared their thoughts. The event was winded up by presenting a memento to the chief guest & vote of thanks which was delivered by Ms. Nireeksha V, Assistant Professor, MSc FSN.
