Whiz-Quiz Competition: Quiz club

The Quiz club along with Sahaydri College conductedWhiz-Quiz Competition for Final year students of our college on 22^ndFebruary 2019 at 2.30pm. Nearly 200 students participated in the First Round.In the second round 75 were filtered and 125 students participated. 24 studentswere finally selected for the Finale to be held in Sahaydri Campus. The QuizMasters were Mr.Girish and Mr.Samarth Shenoy faculties from Sahaydri College.Certificates were distributed to the 24 students by Ms.Vidya Bhat Coordinatorof Besant Women’s College.  Mr.ManjunathKamath and Mr.Guruprasad Roa and students of MBA from Sahaydri College werePresent.

The Finale of Whiz-quiz was held inSahaydri College of Management. Nearly 324 teams participated in this MegaEvent. Mrs.Irin D’souza inaugrated the event. Mrs. Vishall Samaratha, Director Sahaydri College, Mr.Srinvias Kumte,Principal, Mr.Girish and Mr.Ramesh Coordinators of Whiz quiz spoke on theevent. There was a Semifinal round and 50% of the students were filtered.  About 3 teams from Besant Women’s Collegeentered into Semifinals.  The teamsreceived a prinze of Rs.5,000, Rs.3,000, Rs.2,000, and Rs.1,000 each.  The winners of the event were Mahesh College.The Valedictory function was presided by Ms.Vidya Shenoy. Ms. Vidya Bhat wasthe coordinator of Besant women’s College accompanied the students.
