Voters' Pledge Taking Programme: SVEEP

The College SVEEP Committee, in association with IQAC, organized a Voters' Pledge Taking Programme on the occasion of the 15th National Voters' Day on 25th January 2025. The event took place at the college auditorium at 9:30 AM and witnessed active participation from students, faculty, and staff. The programme aimed to promote democratic values and encourage responsible electoral participation among young voters. Participants solemnly took the pledge to uphold the democratic process and exercise their right to vote responsibly. The event served as a reminder of the power and duty of every citizen in a democracy.

Objective: The objective of the programme was to instill the spirit of democratic participation among students and to emphasize the importance of every vote in a democratic society. It aimed to create awareness about the electoral process and encourage first-time voters to be active participants in elections.

Outcome: As a result, participants pledged to uphold democratic values and exercise their right to vote responsibly. The event successfully fostered a sense of civic responsibility and motivated students to engage in the electoral process with greater awareness and commitment.
