Volunteers for Founders Day: Red Cross

The 107th Birth Anniversary of founder of Besant Institutions, Manel Srinivas Nayak was celebrated as ‘FOUNDER’s DAY’ at Besant Women’s College Auditorium on 8th February 2020.the chief guest of the programme Kudpi Jagadeesh Shenoy, President of WNES handed over cheque to the support for the scholarship fund.31 students of Youth Red Cross worked as volunteer for the day by serving food to the guests, lectures, students and helped in distributing the prizes to the winners. Shri K Devanand Pai, Secretary of WNES and Correspondent of Besant Women’s College and Mannel Annappa Nayak, Vice President of WNES were present on this occasion. It was followed by the cultural activities by Besant English and Kannada Medium, Fine Arts, Youth Red Cross students of Besant Women’s College.
