Visit to Food Production department : Dept. of Home Science

Besant women’s college, had organized a visit to Food Production department of Laxmi Memorial College of Hotel Management on 30/05/2023 by the Department of Home Science.

The students observed different methods of cooking and varieties of equipments used in hospitality industry. They also observed varieties of sauces, mini restaurant where they had the opportunity to observe different glasswares. Sarpentine coffee was the innovative one. Students from 1st, 2nd and 3rd year Bsc Home Science gathered lot of information regarding the activities of food production department. Mr.Lester Madtha HoD of the department guided the students. Ms.Swathi and Ms.Prithvi from the department of Home Science accompanied the students.
