Visit to Family Court: Department of Home Science

Besant women’s college had organised a visit to Family court by the Department of Home Science on 23/04/2024. Students from III BSc. Home Science visited the Family Court where a wide variety of cases ranging from divorce and child custody as well domestic violence. Students had the opportunity to hear the important cases like domestic violence, advertisement fraud and also with regard to non-payment of electricity bill. Family court in Mangalore is situated in the office of District Legal Service Authority, Office of the Legal and Defense Counsel system, District Court Complex, Mangalore. Faculties of Home Science accompanied the students. The visit was informative one.
