Multi-Layer Editing which allows adding multiple layers of video, images, text, and effects.
Chroma Key is essential to enable green screen effects to composite videos. This is useful for creating professional-looking videos with background changes.
Audio Editing to edit audio clips. This Includes tools for adjusting audio levels, adding background music, and sound effects, features like voice modulation and reverb enhance audio quality can also be used effectively.
Transitions and Effects in Kinemaster offers a variety of transitions and visual effects to enhance video quality. It includes options for adding animations and motion graphics.
Export Options: After the video editing is finalized it can be imported in various resolutions, including 4K.
A demonstration on using Kinemaster was provided by the resource person. He showed in detail:
Bringing the a clip into the video Editor, using the trimming tool to cut unwanted parts of the video, Split clips to rearrange or remove specific sections, Adding Transitions and Effect, apply visual effects and filters to enhance the video, Inserting Text and Stickers, Tap on the text icon to add titles, captions, and subtitles, Use stickers and animations to make the video more engaging, Adjusting Audio, Import background music and sound effects, Adjust audio levels and synchronize with the video, Exporting the Video, to mp4 format and share the same edited video on social media.
The resource person concluded this workshop, by highlighting the essential features of Kinemaster, the best simple video editor. He said that Filmora and WonderShare were other simple video editors.
The programme was attended by the staff of BCA comprising of Mr. Gopalkrishna A. Raikar, Ms. Naseera S, Ms. Siby M.A, Ms Keerthilaxmi and Ms. Lithika. The technical arrangements were taken care of by Mr. Ravinder Murthy and all the students of BCA.
Programme Outcome:
After the programme, to test the understanding of the students, about video editing, were given an assignment to create a video on our college, and edit it to include transitions, titles and other features of video editing.
