Traditional Day : Students council
Traditional day was held in the college auditorium on 2nd of June 2023.
The day began with the college anthem, followed by a formal talk by the Vice President of the Student Council Ms. Chaithra , who spoke on the importance of celebrating the traditional day. Chaithra in her speech pointed out how the present generation are unaware of so many customs and traditions which are lost. I is important to keep them alive by having such programme where students are forced to read and learn from all and sundry. Apart from that students also learn and respect the culture and traditions of other religions.It creates a sense of belonging and understanding and buiilds bonds.
All the students including lecturers were dressed in traditional attire. The leaders of the student community took charge of organising the programme under the guidance of the Student Welfare Officer Ms.Meera Edna Coelho. Students and teachers were entertained with games and spot prizes
The highlight of the day was the releasing of the Bequest banner by the principal Dr Sathish Kumar Shetty and student welfare officer Meera Edna Coelho along with student council Presidents Ms Neha (UG) and Ms Shaima (PG) and Vice Presidents Ms.chaithra (UG) and Ms. Suraksha (PG).All the other Student Council members also participated in a dance performance and graced the occasion.
