Terrace Gardening Demonstration: Environment Club in Association with IQAC

The Environment Club of Besant Women’s College, in collaboration with IQAC, organized a Demonstration on Terrace Gardening on 28th September 2024. The event took place in the AV Room of the college and commenced at 12:00 PM. The demonstration was conducted by the resource person, Mr. Blany D'Souza, who is a renowned expert in organic gardening and sustainable agricultural practices.

The program aimed at educating students on the importance of terrace gardening and its role in promoting sustainability and environmental conservation in urban areas.

The event saw active participation from all final-year students across various streams, including BA, BCom, BBA, BCA, BSc, and BSc Home Science, along with members of the Environment Club. The students eagerly engaged with the topic and expressed interest in starting terrace gardening initiatives at their home. Dr. Praveen Kumar K.C, Principal

The Terrace Gardening demonstration by Mr. Blany D'Souza offered a comprehensive and practical guide to sustainable gardening. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Leesha from final B.Com.
