Talk on Birth Control and Family Planning: Department of Home Science

Besant women’s college, had organized a talk on Birth Control and Family Planning by the Department of Home Science in association with Women’s cell on 05th April 2024.

Dr.Varshitha.K, from AJ Hospital and Research Centre was the resource person. She explained temporary and permanent methods of contraception with its advantages and disadvantages. Students clarified their doubts. Nearly 25 students were benefited from the session. Ms.Deepthi.J, from III BSc Home Science welcomed the guest. Mrs.Gayathree, HoD, Department of Home Science, Mrs. Prithvi.M and Mrs. Shravya.J.Pambar, Faculty, Department of Home Science were also present for the programme. Ms. Shraddha shetti, from III BSc Home Science conveyed vote of thanks.
