Talk on Menstrual Hygiene: Youth Red Cross 2019

On 10th August 2019, YRC of BWC stepped forward to bring awareness around the vital role that good menstrual hygiene in empowering women and adolescent girls worldwide by Assistant Professor Ms. Suprajalakshmi from the Department of FND . The session was dealt with how to use sanitary pads , how long it can be used and by keeping the body clean without multiplication of harmful bacteria . Even she shared her knowledge about using menstrual cups , which is eco friendly and easy to use without harming the environment. 33 students took part and interacted . At the end 5 students shared their feedback of the session and concluded to share the awareness about health hygiene to the others.
