Seminar on Study abroad opportunities and Scholarships: Career guidance Cell

Objective:

  1. To understand step by step application process to study abroad
  2. To know part time job opportunities abroad
  3. To understand scholarship and financial support

Seminar was organized by Career Guidance and Placement cell of our college in the auditorium for final year students of all streams.85 students were present for the seminar. Career opportunities in abroad was highlighted with special reference to Germany. Students raised the questions regarding percentage of marks required for admission in foreign colleges and scholorshios provided by the Indian Government. Resource persons were Mr. Shijimon Yesudas. International Education Specialist Consultant and Mrs. Deepa Prabhu International Education Consultant.

Outcome:

  1. Students took keen interest in part time job opportunities abroad.
  2. Most of the students contacted them personally to clarify about fee structure.
