Scientia 2023

The Besant Women’s College, Mangaluru had organised one day intercollegiate UG, Talent fest Bequest-2023 .The department of P.G studies in Food Science and Nutrition, Besant Women’s College, Managluru had organized a fest entitled Scientia 2.0- Unleashing the power of ignited minds” as a part of Bequest-2023 on 8th June 2023 for undergraduate students of various science streams and hotel management. A total of six teams along with host college had participated in the fest. Various events such as

• Ambiente (Video genre)
• Mukimono(Fruit carving)
• Root to recruit(Model making)
• Eco warriors(Quiz)
• Sciencian(Pick and speak)
• Nutrimentalist(Treasure Hunt)
• Mad Marquis(Mad Ad)

All the events were conducted in the M.Sc department. The overall championship winners were the Team Recycle Renegades (Dr. NSAM First Grade College, Nitte) and Team Lettuce League(Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce and Management, Balmatta) won runners-up prize. The certificate of merit(winners and runners) was also given to the students who won in the individual events. All the participants were given e-certificates. The participants of the host college were awarded participation certificates and the marks scored in various events were not considered for overall championship as mentioned in the invite.
