Scientia 2020

The Besant Women’s College, Mangaluru had organised two- day intercollegiate UG/PG, Talent fest Bequest-2020 which was inaugurated by Dr.Priyadarshni Rai D’souza, Director, Modern Medical Centre & Harsha Diagnostic Centre in the college auditorium. The department of P.G studies in Food Science and Nutrition, Besant Women’s College, Managluru had organized a one day fest entitled Scientia 2k20- Unleashing the power of ignited minds” as a part of Bequest-2020 on 4th February 2020 for postgraduate students of various science streams. A total five teams along with host college had participated in the fest. Various events such as

• Loudspeaker(Pick and Speak)
• Camouflage (Face Painting)
• Foodography (Food Spa)
• Connect to Change (Advertisement) were organised for the students.

The valedictory for Scientia was held on the same day at 4 in the college auditorium. Mr. Sayed Mohammad Saeed was the chief guest for the programme. The overall championship was given to Team Aeromonas (St.Aloysius College, Autonomous, Managaluru) and Team Brucella(Department of Food Science and Nutrition, Mangalore University) won runners up prize. The participants of the host college were awarded participation certificates and the marks scored in various events were not considered for overall championship as mentioned in the invite.
