Poster making competition on the topic “Healthy Eating Plate”: Dept. of PG studies in FSN - 2021

The department of P.G Studies in Food Science and Nutrition, Besant Women’s College had organised poster making competition on the topic “Healthy Eating Plate” on 22nd December 2021 in the college campus for the students of all streams from 12.30 p.m. to 2p.m. The competition was conducted to enlighten the students about the importance of healthy eating and help them to showcase their creativity. The invite was sent to all the departments of the college. The program was co-ordinated by Ms. Firhath M.A and Ms. Neeriksha V. A total of 16 teams of three students each participated in the competition. Mrs. Gayathree K of Home Science department and Ms. Maya Kuduva of Food Nutrition and Dietetics department were the internal judges and Mrs. Jayashree Sharma, Member of Karavali Chithrakala Chavadi (R) was an external judge for this competition. The evaluation of the posters were done on the following aspects
Relevance to the topic:
-Creativity
-Neatness 
-Presentation 
The results were announced and of the 16 teams, three teams won 1st, 2nd and 3rd position and two teams won consolation prizes
