Poster making competition : Cell for prevention of drug abuse

In connection with World No-Tobacco Day the cell conducted Poster making competition for UG and PG students on 31st may 2023 on the topic “Hazardous effects of Tobacco and drugs” .

Total 7 groups participated in the competition.

From UG category first place was bagged by Thrisha Rani and Rachana of IBCA.

From PG category Rasheeda and Suhaima of II M.Sc FSN bagged the first prize.

Prof. Gayathri, HOD of Homescience department and Mrs. Swathi, Lecturer,Dept. of FND were the judges.

The convener Mrs. Naseera S(Dept. of Computer Application and the members Mrs. Roopa , Dept.of Sociology and Mrs. Kavya, Dept of Chemistry were the cell also created awareness on the effects of drugs by displaying the related posters on the notice board.
