Orientation Programme: PG Studies in Commerce & FSN

The Department of PG studies in Commerce and PG studies in Food Science and nutrition organised orientation programme for the first-year students on 28th November, 2022. The programme began with invoking the blessings of almighty followed by Principal Dr. Sathish Kumar Shetty extending a cordial welcome to the dignitaries and the students. The Chief guest Dr. Manjula K T, Correspondent of Besant Women’s College, the Principal, HOD’s and the faculty members together declared the academic year open by lighting the lamp. The Chief guest, Dr. Manjula K T applauded the students for having taken up PG course and wished them a joyful two years in the campus.

Ms. Anupa Baliga, HOD of Department of PG studies in Commerce introduced the faculty members of the department and briefed the students about the syllabus, credit, project in connection with the course. Mrs. Sangeetha Nayak briefed the students about the various activities which keeps the department in sync with the academics.

Ms. Indira Badya, HOD of Department of PG studies in Food Science and nutrition wished the students the best for the forthcoming academic year. Ms. Nireeksha highlighted course outline and department activities.

Mrs. Devika Anand proposed the vote of thanks and Mrs. Jyothsna Rajesh compered the program.
