Orientation Programme 2018-19 PG studies in commerce

The department of PG Studies in Commerce, Besant Women'sCollege had organised an orientation programme for the students on 7th ofAugust, 2018. 

The Chief Guest for the programme, Mrs. Lalitha G Mallya,Academic Advisor for Besant Group of Institutions enlightened the students bymentioning their role and responsibilities at the Post Graduate level. Sheinsisted them to actively participate in various research activities,conferences and fests.

Correspondent, Sri K Devananda Pai motivated the students toperform their best and wished them for the same. The Principal, Dr. SathishKumar Shetty briefed the students about the College and motivated them to makethe best use of the opportunities which will enable them to grow. 

HOD of PG Studies in Commerce, Ms. Anupa Baliga welcomed thegathering. Librarian of PG Studies, Mr. Lokaraj informed the students aboutthe free online access to INFLIBNET and J-Gate. Faculty members, Ms. Jyothsna Rajesh highlighted the variousactivities organised by the Department and Ms. Shilpa Bhat briefed the studentsabout the M.Com Programme details. 

The Orientation Programme was concluded with vote of thanks byfaculty member Dr. Raghavendra.
