The Department of Secretarial Practice andOutreach Cell of Besant Women’s College will be organizing a  GreenInitiative Programme  under the banner “Namma Mane Namma Mara” -Corporate Social Responsibility, on July 27, 2019 at 10.00 A.M at  DevadigaSamaja Bhavana, Mannagudda, Mangalore,  in association with MangaloreCity Corporation , Karnataka Bank, Karnataka State Devadigas’ Association (R)Mannagudda, Mangalore,  Hangyo Pvt. Ltd. Lions Club, Kankanady-Padil,Lions Club, Kudla.

Sri Mohammed Nazeer, Commissioner, Mangalore City Corporation, will be theinaugurator. The other Guests of Honour are: Sri Madhava Ullal,Environmentalist,    Smt. The Principal, Dr. Sathish Kumar Shetty P., said that the objective of theprogramme is to create awareness about the environment, ban plastic and makepeople realize the importance of the greenery in their surroundings. Cloth bagswill be distributed and fruit saplings will be planted in various houses ofMannagudda area.
