Mehendi Design: Folk Culture Club

The Folk Culture Club of our college, organized a training session on Mehendi Designing for its members on 17.12.2022. Ms. Mahishina and Ashiya Afrha of I BSc - Home Science were the Resource persons. Fifty students have participated in this programme.

Today, Henna is mainly used in celebration of special occasions such as weddings and birthdays in the joyous gathering of people. The Henna paste symbolizes good health and prosperity in marriages.

The members M.s Swathi, Mr. Raviraj, Mr Rakshith Shetty, and Ms Deepika were also present. Ms..Bhakti Joshi of III B.A, the Secretary of the club, proposed vote of thanks.
