Interaction with Ms.Shilpa (Halli Mane Rottis): Department of Home Science in association with Women’s Cell

Besant women’s college had organized an interaction with Ms.Shilpa madam, Halli Mane Rottis, Mangalore by the Department of Home Science in association with Women’s Cell on 11/05/2024.

Ms.Shilpa is not an ordinary women entrepreneur but also a women who has risen from misery. She is originally from Hassan is now the owner of Halli Mane rottis which is a popular mobile canteen near Sanghanikethan in Mannagudde, Mangalore. Students of Besant Women’s College had a wonderful opportunity to interact with Ms.Shilpa Madam. She explained her journey where she had to face many challenges to become successful in life. Students also felt that they met a real hero on that day. On the whole it was an interactive session.
