Honouring the top scorers in the Secretarial Practice subject

The programme of honouring the top scorers in the Secretarial Practice subject of Mangalore University Examination May-2016-17 was organised on October 06, 2017.

Mr. Adyar  Madhava Naik, Proprietor, R. K. Travels, Mangaluru was the Chief Guest. Principal, Dr. Sathish Kumar Shetty P, consented to preside over the function. Shri Shyamsundar Kamath, Secretary, Women’s National Education Society was the Guest of Honour. Prof. Hemalatha, Head of the department of Secretarial Practice introduced the dignitaries and welcomed the gathering.  Addressing the gathering, the Secretary  said  that the department of Secretarial Practice organizes a variety of programmes which are useful for the students and to the society at large. The top scorers of semester exam in the subject Secretarial Practice were honored with the trophies by the Chief Guest, which was sponsored by him. 

The Principal in his address said that honouring the top scorers is a best practice, since this practice was followed by the department for the last thirteen  years, it is a motivation to the students to perform better in the future exams and the department should continue this best practice in the years to come.

A Quiz competition was conducted and mastered by Prof. VidyaBhat..  The first prize was bagged by IIB.A. and second prize was bagged by III B.Com.

Prof. Vidya Bhat proposed vote of thanks. Faculty members of variousdepartments were also present.  Theprogramme was compered by  KumariKausalya.
