First Aid Competition at Mangalore University College: Red Cross

First aid competition was organised by the Indian Red Cross Society in collaboration with Youth Red Cross Unit of Mangalore University. Youth red Cross students of Besant Women’s College named Manila, Akhila, Bhavyashree of 2nd BSc.FND, Dhanshree of 1st B.Com and other 8 colleges took part in the programme. The programme began with inaugural function. Nodal officer Ganapathi Gowda explained the rules of the competition, the contestants were given MCQ question paper related to the topic of First Aid, afterwards they were called individually to explain the First Aid procedure to the given so-said scenario. Judgement was given based on individual performance. Result was announced after aggregating the marks scored by 4 participants. We the students of Besant our college got selected for the State level First Aid Competition.
