Extension Activity Report at Besant Balawadi: Dept of Home Science

Besant women’s college had organized an Extension Activity for the students of Besant Balawadi by the department of Home Science on 10th August 2022

2nd and 3rd year students taught rhymes for the students of Besant Balawadi Children with different models. Some of the Science experiments like day and night, Nature experiences and stories were narrated with different models. Models like Sand tray method, Puppet, Chart were used. Students enjoyed and involved in the programme. Nearly 28 students from Besant Balawadi participated. Mrs., Gayathree and Ms. Swathi were present

Objectives:

  1. To provide the opportunity to learn the knowledge in a group.
  2. To acquire knowledge on different types of teaching aids.

Outcomes:

  1. Students got the opportunity to involve in group.
