Exhibition Cum Trade Show: Department of Commerce and Business Administration

The Department of Commerce and Business Administration, Besant Women's College organised a Exhibition Cum Trade Show for the students of the college. Dr.Manjula K.T. Vice President and Correspondent of the college inaugurated the exhibition; Dr. Praveen K.C. Principal gave away the Presidential address. Mr.Syed Kahdar Dean and HoD along with the faculties of the Department was present.

Objectives

  1. Gain practical experience in event planning, management, and execution, honing skills in project management, teamwork, and communication.
  2. Create a platform for students to connect with industry professionals, potential employers, and peers, fostering valuable relationships and collaborations.
  3. Provide a space for students to showcase their talents, projects, research, and innovations, gaining recognition and feedback from a wider audience.
  4. Offer educational sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance students' knowledge, skills, and awareness of current trends, technologies, and opportunities in their field of interest.
  5. Provide students with opportunities to explore various career paths, industries, and job roles through interactions with professionals, industry representatives, and exhibitors.

The trade show cum exhibition was organised to provide practical training about marketing skills. 12 teams from various streams participated by selling eatables like chats, sweets, mango and pineapple savories. Fancy items like earrings, purses, rubber bands etc. were also sold.
