Cooking without fire competition: Department of Food, Nutrition and Dietetics

OBJECTIVE OF THE ACTIVITY:

To provide a platform for students to showcase their talent and explore new areas of interest

OUTCOME OF THE ACTIVITY:

The activity helped students learn the spirit of self confidence, culinary skills and to appreciate put into cooking

DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY:

The cooking without fire competition on the topic RECIPES FOR KIDS for FND students took place on 25/05/2024 at 1.00pm in the FND food lab. A total of 7 teams, each consisting of two members, participated in the competition. Necessary ingredients for the competition was brought by the students and students were given 1 hour for the completion of the competition .The criteria for the judgement of the competition was based on taste, presentation ,nutritional value and cleanliness ‘The competition was judged by were judged by and Ms.Indira Badya , HOD, Dept of M.Sc FSN & Ms . Prithvi Assistant professor Department of Home science Besant Women's College. The winners of the competition were
