On account of Communal Harmony Day, Students’ Council organized interclass variety entertainment competition based on the theme ‘Unity in Diversity’ on 17th April, 2025. The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Gust, Dr. Praveen Kumar K.C. accompanied by the Student Welfare Officer, Ms. Ranjini, judges of the competition Mr. Deekshith Poojary, Mr. Raviraj, President of Students’ Council Ms. Deeksha and Vice President Ms. Ashila Hazra. In his keynote speech the Chief guest highlighted the importance of mutual respect, tolerance and understanding between different religious and cultural communities. Ms. Ranjini introduced the judges to the audience. Variety entertainment by the students and the judges added color to the event, showcasing India’s rich diversity through dance, music and skits with themes centered on unity in diversity. The Valedictory programme commenced with a brief recap of the events conducted throughout the day. The Chief Guest -Mr. Deekshith Poojary Airody, the model, dancer, actor and Engineer by profession addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech, stressing the need for continued efforts in nurturing harmony. He appreciated the active participation and enthusiasm of students which made the event a grand success. Following his address the prize distribution ceremony was held. II year degree students won the first prize and I year won the second prize. Ms. Afrima hosted the programme. The secretary of the Students’ Union Ms. Meghana G. Pai proposed Vote of Thanks. Live music concert was held by ABCD team.
